Kellyn Pedersen

I've been a database adminstrator for over 10 years and have managed Oracle and SQL Server. I specialize in performance tuning and creating systems that are enterprise level. I'm all about robust systems that experience the least amount of outages in anyway and are self-maintaining. Since databases interact with every aspect of the business, I feel it's incredibly important that DBA's are "bullet-proof" so kevlar is an important part of my day to day business. I live in Colorado with my husband, three children, two dogs and a cat. In my household, even the family dogs are reported to have ADHD, so I am also a valued resource for ADHD information. I like to say that I am Attention Deficit Hyperactive DYNAMIC, which anyone who knows me can attest to! It has been a surprising gift in my field and I hope to share the benefits of that gift here on this site.
