WITDC Mental Health and Wellness Day- May 7th

I’ll be speaking along with a slew of fantastic other presenters on mental health and wellness as part of the Women in Tech Data Platform on May 7th, 2021.  This is a day we all come together to recognize the importance of self-care in our lives, but especially during this unprecedented time of the pandemic.

I’ll be presenting a session titled, “Turning ADHD into “Awesome Dynamic Highly Dependable”

It’s a long time coming, as I’m so often asked how I make ADHD look so easy. As most folks know, I don’t consider ADHD a disorder, but a unique wiring of the mind and unless someone creates impacting barriers to the way I optimally function, (which I’m always happy to share and/or put in place) there’s no stopping me.

In this session, I’ll share tips, tricks and [hopefully] powerful insights on how to be more productive and successful as someone with ADHD, as well as provide help to those who have someone in their lives with ADHD that they want to help or understand better.

I highly recommend you take the time to look over the day of great sessions and attend some of the other fantastic content that will be provided on neurodiversity and mental health.  I can honestly say, neurodiversity is here to stay in IT.  Plus, we’re loud, distracted and persistent, so the more you know about us, the better you can be at navigating communication, collaborating and managing this diverse group!
