I thought this was kind of a cool feature- the ability to send a message to appear to specific or all users in the Cloud Control Console. I have to admit that I used to like a similar feature in Microsoft/MSSQL to send network broadcast messages to desktops that offered one more way to get information to users that they might be less inclined to miss. You log into the host, check the status, it tells you that the Weblogic server is up and everything else is down. I’ve been feeling quite amorous about the camera features on my Samsung Galaxy 6 Edge phone, but noticed that it wasn’t taking as automatically impressive pictures as usual and sometimes, I even had to focus, (the horror!) I turned the camera over and could see a hairline crack inside the camera lens. It was a really odd place to have damage, as the exterior cover to the lens was fine. This database has a restricted use license, which means you can use it for the Enterprise Manager repository, but you can’t add partitioning to it or RAC or dataguard features without licensing those features. I’ve just returned from another post-RMOUG conference mountain trip and happy to say that another RMOUG Training Days conference has successfully completed. I’d had some difficulty with WiFi consistently staying connected on each of my Raspberry Pi units. I’d had a little time to look into it, but no research had offered an answer and the only fixes I’d come up with was a shell script I wrote to force a restart of the NIC, which helped some, but no improvement when I added an antenna, (I considered all the wires, sensors, etc. might be interfering with the signal.) The only thing that is constant is change. There were some major changes to Enterprise Manager with 13c and many of them may seem small to someone who knows the product well, but then again, it may trip you up as you’re accustomed to features working as you knew them in EM12c.
